1. Description of Service

PlainRx scans medical documents and provides plain-language explanations in English and Simplified Chinese. Output is educational and not a word-for-word certified translation.

PlainRx uses a stateless proxy plus Google's Gemini AI service for explanation generation.

2. Medical Disclaimer

PlainRx is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always verify with a licensed healthcare professional. If this is an emergency, call 911.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for scanning clear input and validating any AI-generated output with your healthcare provider before acting on it.

By using PlainRx, you consent to processing of scanned medical text through PlainRx's proxy and Google's Gemini AI service as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services

PlainRx depends on Cloudflare Worker infrastructure, Google Gemini AI APIs, and Apple frameworks. Availability and performance depend on those third-party services.

5. Limitation of Liability

PlainRx is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated output.
